Now that Midsummer has been and gone, it's time to turn our thoughts to what are we going to be wearing this autumn and winter. Bright berry colours are in, with complementing greys and browns and hints of gold, all warm autumn and winter colours.

Rowan Magazine no 46 features three themes: Folklore, Shadowland and Heritage.Folklore celebrates the resurgence of handicrafts and traditional craftsmanship while Shadowlands reverts back to primitive and functional garments while Heritage celebrates the 1920s, greens and greys constrast with rich purple heather, golds and chesnut, all with an eccentric English twist.

Debbie Bliss

Debbie has brought out a new yarn for Autum Winter 2009/2010 called Fez, which is 85% extra fine merino wool, 15% camel and knits as an aran weight.

Supporting Debbie Bliss' new Fez yarn, the Fez collection for Autumn Winter, includes a hooded cabled tunic, a cowl scarf, fairisle yoke dress (shown) and a Scandanavian hoodie amongst others.

With lots of sumptious berry colours, cables and rib patterns featuring in many of the styles making the most of the stitch definition of this new yarn. This book will be popular with many Debbie Bliss fans around the world.
