Very exciting Autumn/Winter 2009 launch today at home of Rowan in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire - right on my doorstep in fact.
The new season designs were introduced by internationally renowned designer Erika Knight and all the designs are very strong this year and there are some fabulous additions to the yarn range. The new magazine should be out at the beginning of July 2009 and the new yarns launch in August. Be the first to get your copy of Rowan Issue no. 46.
It was great to meet other stockists and particulary Susie from Weston-super-Mare, who provided the technical knitting assistance on the Kirsty Allsop show on Channel 4 " Home made Home" where she looked at a variety of handicrafts to produce some amazing items for the home.
It was great news that knitting and knitted items were showcased in this way, does it mean that knitting is going mainstream as last?
