Harrogate Knit & Stitch show

It was a few of weeks ago now but only seems like days ago. First time at the Harrogate show and it was exhilarating and exhausting but worth the effort.

The most amazing aspect of the show which stands out for me was how lovely all our customers were, even though we were extremely busy, and they all lead such interesting lives, apart form knitting obviously. From a vet who always wanted to set up a wool shop, to a young man who was not quite sure what his email address was - is that possible in this day and age?

Most of you who attended will have seen the display in Hall A of the knitted ship and under the waves scenes. There were some lovely doe eyed seals and multo coloured fish amongst the sea life.

Many thanks to all the people who came by and stopped for a chat and particularly to those who left us their email addresses. We have been in touch since.

Lots of you came by to stop and stroke the cashmere at the front of the stand, maybe next year, we should have a little stroking section and maybe include a cat!

After listening to many of your comments, we will have more beginners kits at the show next year and also up on the website and we also hope to bring in a section which explains how to read knitting patterns. Many of you encounter problems with some patterns.

We look forward to seeing you all at next year's show.
